BORG Automotive Reman is Europe's largest independent automotive remanufacturing business. The company’s principal business activity is to remanufacture defective parts, such as brake calipers, turbochargers, starters and alternators, and to sell them in the B2B market in a circular business model.

BORG Automotive Reman is part of the BORG Automotive Group, which also comprises BORG Automotive Newman, and CPI, the division dedicated to the sales of remanufactured units to the OES channel.

BORG Automotive Reman exclusively remanufactures original cores in the production facilities in Poland, Spain and United Kingdom. The production process is strictly certified according to quality standard ISO 9001: 2015 and environmental standard ISO 14001: 2015.

More than two million units are remanufactured across all brands – giving customers more than 13,700 part numbers to choose from. Today, there are more than 2000 employees spread across our European production facilities, warehouses and offices.

On top of the historical core competencies in mechanical and electric technologies, nowadays the focus is in the electronic and software side of our products, which have exponentially increased in the cars over the last decade. Through investments in research the company is now able to activate and test those families like electric AC, Belt Driven Starter-Generator, electric Steering Rack, or Turbos with an electronic actuator.

Over the years, BORG Automotive Reman has also developed an important 3D printing activity for plastic components in order to increase the amount of material that can recovered from the remanufacturing process.

The company joins the rEUman project with the ambition to deliver important results in areas such as process automation, electronics repair and digitalisation of the value chain. BORG Automotive Reman and CPI will be one of the automotive use case and particularly will focus its activity on products related to electromobility, like electric motors, inverters and eTurbos.
